Was Really Goliath killed by David?

In Bible it is written that David killed Goliath, It’s true but if we compare David against Goliath than David is just a small kid in front of Goliath. Then how can we believe that Goliath killed David by just a simple sling shot?

As we know Goliath was a Giant, he was very strong and very tall. Goliath was from the Remnant left in the country to test Israel in settlement of Canaan. We can see in (1 Samuel 17:4) “And there went a champion out of a camp of the Philistines, whose name was Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. Means his height was 13 feet and 4 inches tall, counting 25 inches as a cubit and 10 inches as a span.

(1 Samuel 17:5- 7, 51) “And he had a helmet of brass upon his head, and Goliath was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five thousand sand shekels of brass. And had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a huge target of brass between his shoulders. And a staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him”. “Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took the sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew Goliath, and cut off his head in addition to that. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, then they fled”.

 Was Goliath killed by David or the Lord Jehovah?

 If we ask anyone who killed Goliath? The answer will be David. Yes, David killed Goliath but indirectly because it was not possible to kill Goliath by a slingshot. We all know the story of David and Goliath very well.

 In (1 Samuel 17:42) says David was a young boy and of short height, so it was very difficult for him to kill.

But In (1 Samuel 17:45-46) says David said to the Philistine, “you come to me using the sword, spear, and the javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord all mighty, the God of the armies of Israel. And you have said bad things about God. Today the Lord will let me defeat you. And I will kill you. I will cut off your head and feed your body to the birds and wild animals. And we surely will do the same thing to all the other philistines too. Then all of the worlds will know that there is a God in Israel”.

Now the Philistine army slowly walked closer and closer toward David, but David ran to meet Goliath. And verse 48 says David took out a stone from his bag. And He put it in his sling and swung the sling. The stone just flew from the sling and hit Goliath’s right between the eyes. And the stone sank deep into his head, and Goliath fell to the ground with face down. This proves Lord only killed Goliath because when David put a stone in his sling and swung the sling, Lord was holding the head of Goliath and that’s why he fell to the ground face down. If we see, go according to the physics law than “than Goliath would have fallen back, but he falls with the Facedown.” Here Goliath falls with his face down, and force was applied from the front, and he did not fell where force was applied. So it does prove that Lord killed Goliath but David was just a medium to kill Goliath.
