Who is the first Prophet in the Bible?

Who was the first prophet in the Bible?

As we see in the Bible prophets play major roles. Bible was written by different people but by the spirit of God. The prophet means a person who is believed to have a special power that allows them to say what God wishes to tell. According to the Bible the persons who were close to God, spend more and more time with him. He talks to them. Prophecy means forecasting of what will happen in the future. There are so many prophets and prophetesses in the bible. Prophets divide into two parts. Major and Minor. Major Prophets are Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and twelve Minor Prophets are Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi. But Enoch’s name is not mentioned in the Prophets list.

How Enoch Is the first prophet in the Bible?

Bible says in (Jude 14)“And Enoch said the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.” This verse clearly shows he prophesied the second advent of Christ will all the resurrected saints who will have been raptured at least 7 years before this. Enoch walked with God (Genesis 5:21). Enoch in Hebrew is Chanowk which means initiated. He was taken to heaven bodily without dying. He knew the time and purpose of his translation. Enoch and Noah were the only antediluvians who walked with God (Genesis 5:22; Genesis 6:9). Abel, Enoch, and Noah are the only ones referred to in the Bible as being godly during this age (Hebrew 11:1-7; Genesis 7:1, 2 Peter 2:4-5). He was translated by faith In (Hebrew 11:5) says “By faith, Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God has translated him for before this translated he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Another reason that Enoch can be one of the First prophets in the Bible is that Somehow we believe that Enoch Wrote a book known as the Book of Enoch.

Enoch’s faith walks.

  1.  He lived with God according to His will for 300 years.
  2.  He translated that he should not see death in his generation.
  3.  He could not be found because God has translated. (Genesis 5:21-24).
  4.  He had a testimony that he pleased God by being a man of faith.
  5. (Maybe) He will come back and die as one of the two witnesses (Revelation 11:3-11).
  6.  He has been living in heaven for over 5,265 years (Genesis 5:22; Zechariah 4:11-14; Revelation 11:4).

That is all his days on earth at that time. Besides living 365 years on earth, he has now lived about 5,310 years in heaven making around 5,675 years he has lived without death. He can return as one of the two witnesses from the Bible (Revelation 11) to complete his earthly life and die (Revelation 11:7) as is appointed unto all men (Hebrew 9:27).

According to the History:

In a sentence revealing 365 years of history, 300 people believed in him who was humble and holy and walking with God.

The two olive trees Who are the two olive trees in the bible? In (Zechariah 4:11-14) says Then I asked Him, “What are these 2 olive trees on the right side of the menorah and on the left side of it?” Then I asked Him a second time, “What are these 2 olive branches, which are beside the 2 golden spouts, that pour the golden oil out themselves?” He answered me, “Don’t you know what these are?” I said, “No my Lord. Then he said, “These are the 2 anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole Earth.”

In (Revelation 11:4) the verse proves this they are the two witnesses who were taken to heaven without dying. “these are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. Then after applying the message to Zerubbabel, the angel explained the full meaning of the olive trees. They represented the two anointed ones who, having been translated without seeing death, stand before the God of all the earth until the time they are to appear on earth again as the two witnesses (Revelation. 11:3-11-14).
